You may or may not have noticed the SnarkPit was down from December 2015 to now. There was a database issue and everything is back up and running the way it was left.

Any future events which lead to a site shutdown should be considered temporary. I'm not interested in removing the SnarkPit from the internet, and will do whatever I can to maintain the site.

Discussions are underway in our new SnarkPit Redesign Forum!

SnarkPit has been working on updating and changing with the times for a long time. Games are changing and so are the tools to make them. building levels isn't what it used to be, and we feel SnarkPit has an opportunity to become a valuable resource for new game editing tools.

We've had private conversations in the past, but now, we'd like to make them public. We're in the idea phase now, and starting a whole forum will allow us to manage new ideas together. Have an idea on how to make the Pit better? Please visit our new Redesign Forum and let us know! Grab a copy of the latest Design Document and get filled in on the new direction the Pit may be taking.
