Solve me!

Just made this maze, thought I'd post it and see who here can figure it out.

The rules are simple. Think of the spaces as cards that are laying on top of each other. If you just went down, you must go up for your next move, and vice versa.

Oh wow, that is crazy. I'm gonna have to do this over the weekend - too complicated for now.

I believe I solved it, let me know if I'm wrong or not (Obviously you will lol).

Also, if you guys want me to take the picture down and just make it a link (so you can figure it out alone or something), just say so.

My Solution

[EDIT]
There you go Cash.

Cass, the second move I made was an up. If you're counting Start.

Not bad, but it seems you're forced into the correct direction for the most part and any alternative routes are only a couple of moves long..!

Did you make that on your own?

If so, you're quite the evil genius.

Amazing. [addsig]

Monqui - yeah, I made it - I'm not called mazemaster for nothing

Crono - That's a solution, but not the one I origionally intended! Nice. The other solution is completely different except near the end, I wont post it in case any one else cares to solve it another way. Here is an updated version that eliminates crono's path (only changed 1 small square):

As for what Lep said, there are actually quite a few long diversion paths, but the length of the diversions decreases the closer you get to the finish.

For example at the beginning there are several choices that lead to very long diversions that go all about the maze before dead-ending. Towards the end the diversion paths are indeed only a few moves, but the up/down trickery increases. Such is the nature of the maze.

Crono, mind linking your solution instead of posting it right in the thread? I want to be able to talk in this thread before I solve it.

CCS - just solve this updated version (chrono's excellent second solution has been removed so there is only 1 solution).

Crono's wasn't right... he went down on an up on the second move.

That piece isn't very clear, but it's actually the only way to go
