I have an Intel motherboard which I can't overclock in the bios so I have to use software. Problem is I have to configure the PLL Manufacturer and PLL type. I have no idea what a PLL is.
Can anyone tell me what it is and how I can find it out?

n, but i can tell you that, you will never be satisfied overclocking your pc, and will only cause more issues later.
i advise, don't do it.

If it isn't in BIOS, there should be jumpers on the motherboard. You will need to find out your motherboard manufacturer, then download your motherboards manual. A PLL is a phased locked loop, in this case on a chip used to generate a high precision clock signal for the PC. To find out which one your motherboard has, basically just look at the different chips on the motherboard, and try to find one that has a serial number on it that matches one in your software overclocking program. If you are trying to overclock a proper P2 (not celeron), I suggest you don't bother, you won't get anything worthwhile out of it.
