I love how in all the Romance films he's in he suspects his wife of cheating, which drives them apart, even though he cheats like mad on the wife (The Awful Truth). I don't really know much about Cary Grant as a guy, but as a film persona he seems like a smooth pimp; or an asshole depends on how you look at it lol. [addsig]

| You look at the negative sides of things too much Orph. Permanent Devil's Advocate lol. |
not really, i watched all his movies and enjoyed most.. tho i tend to lean toward his comedy ones.
funny tho, other people have made similar comments, just as erroneously. i tend to think of it as being positive, about negative situations.
people whom cannot view negativity very well are never as happy as i am, they tend to be broodish.
anywhos, the ability to even see negative situations is an art unto itself, and most fail at it miserably, and i might add, they are usually the ones who think others only see negative sides of things..
*looks closer at crono*
nah, i was mistaken ![]()
the fact that i tell jokes that no one else gets, doesn't disqualify them entirely.. for most of the day, i am quite happy, but i do love the ability to see both sides of any topic.
grant was a great actor, grants only downfall was his choices in parners.
positive and negative ![]()

i have to laugh, my stepmom, when she first met me, overheard my views on ugly people, she said i was the most evil person she had ever met, i think at the time she was stone serious.
point is, she didn't get out much, i tend to think people whom think i only see negativity, don't get out much either.
i have met some pretty strange people in my time, i barely qualify on a scale of 1-10, and 10 being schizophrenic, i might be a 1.5

Believe me, I look at both sides most of the time. I was commenting on the fact that we were talking about how Mr. Grant was a Heart Throb so to speak then you pop in with something about his personal life (which I wasn't too keen on) and I just thought it was funny that you immediatly went "yeah, but he's gay", not in those exact words, but nonetheless.
Man, I've met some weirdos while waiting at school (Portland State) Random people walk up to you and make strange comments for absolutly no reason.
I remember I was waiting for Dad (Freshman year, 2 years ago) with my buddy, Tyler (whom I'm trying to get to come to this site instead of asking me for advice, which would come from my horribly lacking knowledge of mapping), and this guy, I couldn't tell if he was homeless or not because he had no shoes, smelt bad, but had un tattered clothes and a 200 dollar back pack. . . . Anyway, he was asking for change and what he said was "Hey, man do you have any change? If you say no I'll kill you . . . ha ha ha no, I'm f**kin' with you man, but seriously?" I'm like . . . whaa? "sorry I don't have change" and I didn't and he was like "oh man, oh well, thanks" and he went on. However, he kept commenting to me and my friend while he was getting rejected left and right (because he suddenly felt that hanging around us was a good way to pick up change). At one point he was like "man, it was easier to get change when I was doin' 20 in the pen" . . . Tyler started laughing as the man slowly whimsied away, but I stopped him and said "why was he in a penetenturary for 20 years!?!???!? Don't you get like 10 for Murder??" lol. So, I wasn't weirded out or anything, it was just amusing and disturbing all at once. Many, other indeviduals have approched me in time as well.
Also, I didn't mean to strike a perverbial nerve there, just crakin' a joke at your seemingly pessemistic attitude lol (It's a joke!)
But, yeah, my girlfriends parents hate me, without a doubt. Not to mention a bunch of other things which will not be mentioned here, to put it simply, they have problems, not nessesarily mental, but . . . some kind, and they're effecting more then themselves.
whew, ok, I don't mean to drag the thread down, it's picked up speed. Everyone loves movies I see lol.
How about this for a question.
What do you think (To date) is the best video game to movie adaptation or your favorite?
I think the first Mortal Kombat rocked, hard.
And again, I love Resident Evil, don't know why, but I do.
So, what are your guy's thoughts?
Oh and guess us "youngins' " know about old 40's films as well

i took it as you were not quite joking, but attempting humor none the less..
after you been here a bit, you'll realize that off handed comments like that rarely set me off, especially when there is so much truth to it.. i have never hid my thoughts about the gay community, i have learned thru trial and error, that most snarkpitters have NO sense of humor regarding them tho, so i try hard to be as lowkey as possible and still retain my right to say as i please.
as i said to many before, if i am mad at you, you won't have to guess.
note all the smilies while i typed to cass and such ![]()
