consider this, more people die each day from cars than guns.

But the people own more cars than guns I assume

really, that makes a difference somehow.

some people own 10 or 20 weapons, but only 2 cars.. anyways, you can only operate one vehicle at a time, but fire multiple guns.

still at any given moment, i bet more cars are being used, but somehow i fail to see the relevance.

once you are dead, it doesn't matter how you got that way, at least to you.

But you use your car alot more often than your gun (i hope, lol). I dont think that how many guns you can fire at one time matters, if you get in a firefight, someone may still die. [addsig]

we're drifting away from the discussion, i was only referring to the licensing issue that was brought up, i didn't mean to allow my biased opinion about driving influence my comment.

cars kill more people than guns and are far easier to obtain.. thats my point i guess.

Ok

My opinion is to make alcohol lock a standard, because many accidents involve drunken drivers. But I dont know how easy it is to get a license over there, so I shouldnt comment on that point.
