Somone told me i could upload pics into the pit.... i dono how tho.... somthing with snarkpit.com/pits... and my name being thier or ... what?

You have to apply for webspace through the pit, once you have that you can put up pictures, maps, and webpages (related in some way to mapping, If I rememebr correctly).

In other words, goto "control panel" and click on "homepage" on the left hand side. [addsig]

Geocities doesn't like external --> internal linking, so it's a bad idea to host files there. Best just go with a pit. [addsig]

you know matt, you have a knack for reading things almost exactly backward sometimes

the point he made with the geocities is, you cannot link to SP from there, but you can link a pit to SP

yes you are correct, you cannot link out of the pit to elsewhere, but i feel the reason for this thread originally, was so Death could show off his wares to us.

anyways, it just makes me laugh

BTW i have posted this a couple times already, but no one seems to notice, (kinda like xat )

anyways THIS site will host a buttload of pictures for you, and when you post them here THIS is what they look like.

the site seems to gain nothing by hosting these images, it has a short registration process, and then assigns you space..

granted, its not quite as good as a pit, but its a hell of a lot better than geocities

if you check out http://www.freewebs.com apply for a site its gives you space i only know that png files work on other files

Apply for space
upload an image with a .png file
and you can view it on other sites.
