I hold my MS mouse in my fingers. It is possible to use it comfortably with either fingers or palm, but I prefer to use fingers. If microsoft weren't unpopular for other reasons, you would just say you prefer to have a smaller mouse, not that the MS ones are 'bulky and horrible'. Loads of people have an MS mouse and it's not like they have any kind of monopoly in this area. If their mice suck so bad, why do so many people have them?

Mice mice mice mice mice

meh... i use a Logitech Idontknowwhatitis. Got it june last year... its purely functional, but its pretty good considering.

MS mice are great. I suppose if you have small hands they might be a bit of a problem, but average-sized and up hands are fine with MS mice

Dude, you really need to stop reading into stuff that isn't there. No one said Microsoft mice "suck so bad" or that they're "horrible". It was simply said that they were bulky. The reason why I have that point of view isn't because they're a monopoly, it's because the damn things cramp my hand after like 2 hours of use, they're simply incomfortable.

You seem to like putting words in people's mouths from time to time . . .

Anyway, Orph, if you have a mac (the second link was a Mac mouse lol) you better have OSX running on the damn thing. [addsig]

i have a Cre@tivE IceMouse. It glows BLUE instead of RED!!! WHOAA, TRIPPY! i luv it. my 13-year-old sis treats it like a living animal and says thatit's hyper or, how she spells it, "hipur". she calls it hyper because I turned up my sensitivity all the way up. [addsig]

No, a standard mac mouse has one button, you can definatly buy a 3 or 5 button mouse for a mac.

Its not big deal, I was just pointing it out, In all actuality it's probably the same mouse model with a difference connector.

Also, why does everyone call it IBM compatible when Intel invented the architecture they're using? lol I've alwasy wondered that.

IBM's "famed" architecture was . . . mind boggling to say the least. Rest in peace 360. . . good night sweet prince . . .

...No, I'm kidding it should burn in hell, you think assembly is hard? ha! [addsig]

It's IBM compatible and not Intel compatible because IBM made the first real 'PC' using an Intel chip... there were other companies that had arguably better solutions than intel - IBM are the ones that did the unique thing of making a 'PC', that could use different peripherals that were listed as 'IBM compatible' (so people knew that the peripheral would work on their shiny new Intel-based IBM PC).

Crono... you said you hate MS mice. What lower feeling towards something is there than hate? I maintain that if microsoft didn't exist and somebody else made that exact same mouse, you wouldn't be so hard on it

I don't see how bulkiness could cause cramps...it's usually the other way around. [addsig]

Gorb, I have weird hands then, because, as it is now, I can rest my hand on my desk and move my mouse with my fingers quite easily, no cramps. When I used a MS mouse (a long time ago) I had to actually rest my hand on the mouse, not my desk, or whatever surface under the mouse, thus hurting my wrist and causing the middle part of my palm to cramp (I have problems with my hands, not so good taking that I'm only 20, arthritis here I come . . .)

The last time I had a doctor look at it he said I had tendinitis, but it was an HMO, so I think he was full of s**t.

No, Jeff. It really is the size of the damn thing that I don't like. The company in general is a differnet matter, but if they made something that was a honest to God solution, then I'd probably be fine with it, I mean look at Mac, I don't like them, but I support OSX and their Hardware. Orph, I don't know what mind set you've got right now, but it's creepy . . . lol . . . (my love life isn't self administered, just to be clear) . . . secondly, I know you were joking and all, but seriously, sometimes my hands hurt like f**king hell. [addsig]
