Me and a friend we're *trying* to have a game of cs 1.5 by setting up a server. (He set the server up as he has 512Kbit BB) He gave me the ip address, i added it to the online games, tried to gone, ERROR ERROR ERROR. Has snyone actually managed to create and play on a custom cs 1.5 server? [addsig]

Do online servers work? If they do, it's your problem, CS is fine on LAN as far as I can see. But if other online servers aren't working, maybe WON kicked the bucket. [addsig]

Steam works like a charm for me. Been using it to play all kinds of things and testing maps. Works better than the WON version most of the time. [addsig]

WON is fine, cs 1.5 works fine over the net. Does he have a firewall of some kind, perhaps ?
