this site has changed since Ive been here the last time. I see there are some nice functions, but hey what the heck happend to my profile. All my map descriptions, screenshots, download mirrors n stuff have been messed-up. like my homepage for example: the URL has changed from http://www.kampys-stuff.de to "http://http://www.kampys/stuff.de". All my mapscreenshots are gone (but two) and all my maps have the description and screenshot of one of my maps. smiley

Hm, not sure about the first stuff but the http://http:// is easily changed - just remove the http:// from your own information.

The problem with one map being viewed as all maps I thought had been fixed.. odd.

the download links are still wrong (and strangely there are 2) and the screenshots are all gone

Well, .. I guess I will have to delete all maps and put them on again with all the screenshots and download links. pretty lame smiley


P.S. I cant delete the maps either.. come on

Whoa, whoa, naw, you don't have to delete your maps. You can edit everything you upload to the Pit. Simply go to your control panel and click the maps tab and click on the associated pictures or "no image' for that map to enter the edit map page. Which BTW, has the option to delete them there as well.

Well due to the bugs on this site I cant edit/delete them. The button is not shown. (I could delete two of my maps that werent bugged lol dam) smiley

Well, if you're experiencing any major bugs like what you're describing then please mention them in our Bug Thread so that we can get it fixed, and find out the problem. I'd hate for you to have to delete your old map profiles and re-add them again, that's gonna be a pain in the butt! I'm sure we can get this fixed easily! If anything, I'd rather have the original map profiles stay in the database, because from my admin position, I can make all the changes or updates you may specify until we can get it fixed for you smiley

well, in this case I dont have to transfer the problem to the other thread right? anyway I hope youll get it fixed. My profile looks horrible - nobody is able to download my maps smiley

Ive uploaded (had to coz they were all deleted) all the screenshots again (and even some more) and corrected the all links. you can now see and download my maps again. hf smiley

Sorry for the issues.

A great deal of the content was in non-standard and different formats in the database.

For example the website URL thing - some profiles used the initial http://, some didn't and the way the information was returned was different across different pages.

A lot of bbcode was different and changed over the years, and there was raw html in some of the database text... in cleaning it up some stuff inevitably got a bit mangled.... etc

Globat appears to have eaten a lot of the older map screenshots too, sorry about that D:
