Oh I shouldn't have listened to this. I've had the hardest week of the year with regards to exams and tests.. went to sleep at 4am last night.. I almost fell asleep listening to that just then. I agree first one is beautiful.

I've heard this soundtrack in-game a few times now. But without the vocals ofcourse.
Too bad I can't play Gothic 3 normally because of a stutter bug. Even with the latest community patch.
It looks like a nice game though, and I really want to play it since Gothic 2 is my favorite game of all time.

I enjoyed it. The game is a few years old, I have not played it.. is it any good? I hear the next one is called ArcaniA and will be out in 2010. Id like to try the 3rd edition first and get a little caught up on the game. Where can I get it?

Well, I can't really say whether it's good or not, since, like I said, I'm having those stutterings making the game unplayable for me.
I have played Gothic 2 Alot and it's my favorite game of all time. Maybe you should start with either Gothic 1 or 2 so you know the story better. I started with Gothic 2 before Gothic 1 and 3 also. After 4 years I still play it alot.
If you start with Gothic 3, make sure you download the latest community patch (1.72 or 1.73 which is coming out this month) It fixes lots of annoying bugs and it will make the game more playable.
According to some Gothic 3 fans, the game is very good, but it's the bugs that make this game so unpopular.
When you'll play Gothic 2, I recommend playing it without the addon first, since it makes the enemies twice as strong.
