Ya, I understand Reno; I forgot you work with a team that's already released a game over Steam.

About my post, yea it was messed up pretty badly, I had forgotten to add the = sign when quoting **Dedi** (The astricts threw me off I suppose smiley ) But after adding that back in it seems to have fixed it up again.

@larchy, if you want to see what we're talking about, edit my post and remove the equal sign at the quote tag.

Quoting Riven
Well then, I'd be curious to know (perhaps not that curious otherwise I'd look it up myself -dang internet not allowing excuses like that to prevail smiley ) to know what Valve charges for a 'developer fee' -if you had gotten on their annual list. -And what percentages they take from your sells?

[quote**Dedi**]Hmmm... I don't know how... but you misquoted that. The actual quote should have been "Microsoft will take 30% of your profits and pay you the remaining 70%."

That "I don't know How" leads me to believe that a margin of error as precise as that little maneuver yodalman pulled off was no unintended miss-quote (unless the guy just feels like re-typing other people's quotes instead of using the cosmological physics-defying human tool of copy/paste embedded into every modern standardized-part computer/machine [with keyboard layout]). I presume it was a misguided poke at a certain level of humor upon which our humor radars failed to detect. In any case, we should quickly dismiss it before our own over-analyzation convening becomes more pronounced than both the misunderstood joke and subject of this thread combined!

It was a joke about how microsoft is nothing more then a bunch of high school nerds that got lucky one day whilst coding something for school to get grade and that they are really just greedy basturds that want all your money even if your making a game that should be free, and that the day they are in charge of the world is the day you have to pay a 75$ fee just to open your fly, and then a extra 1000$ to pee for 2 seconds, after that it's about 50$ a millisecond, and you can't pee more then 12 seconds, or else you'll get a fine and be thrown into prison for life. It would cost 400,000 to leave your car idle... for 12 seconds. you don't want to know how much it would cost to apply pressure to the gas pedal. You would have to pay 2$.... to blink. If you ever wanted to have a conversation, it would cost 5 billion per millisecond. If you wanted to yawn, then you would go bankrupt.
