they should submit it as the solution for world hunger or resurrect its earlier "large" cousin as it were, and breed them for SUPERPIGS!

ACE.

Dude, a fourth of the human population doesn't eat pork (or so).
I mean, if it meant life or death, yeah, they'd eat it, but still . . . ew. [addsig]

I think world hunger implies starvation. It's not a bunch of people who aren't just quite satisfied with their 3 course meal Crono.

*runs* [addsig]

Oh you little! get back here! lol

I'm well aware of that, but I mean for religious (and health reasons) much of the population of Earth doesn't eat this animal... [addsig]

The problem with western culture is that we've been brought thinking that eating meat is in some way healthy. It's not. It takes up to four hours for your body to digest and can lay rotting inside you. Lovely image. Humans were never meant to eat cooked food, it's the reason only a tiny minority of us will die of natural causes. [addsig]

Yeah, I suppose, but we live a pretty damn long time anyway. Also, our bodies have become accustomed to certain types of foods be it meat, grain, whatever.

But, dude, I love meat, just not pork lol . . . [addsig]

You'll also note then A_S, that humans shouldnt really drink cows milk Which is the point I use when people ask me why I hate the stuff

Now return to the trees with your hippie brethren! There, and only there can you liberate the cows, sheep, horses, cats, dogs and many other meat product based animals* into a life of bounty and freedom!

*Pertaining to "what came first, the chicken or the egg? - the special fried rice with chicken balls, if its anywhere near to becoming a respectable eatery"

?_?. !

Incorrect! Our bodies have not become accustomed to these foods. Our taste buds perhaps, but not our bodies.

Another prime of consumers being mislead is Milk. When people think of milk, they think of strong bones and teeth and maybe someone pulling at a cow, but that's sick. Humans aren't supposed to consume cows milk. In fact, after we're 3 years old we stop producing the enzyme that allows us to extract calcium from milk. Drinking milk with a meal coats your innards with milk which stops nutrients from the meal being absorbed.

Cooking destroys many vitamins and nurtients in food, so even your cooked vegetables aren't all that good for you.

Humans are the only animals on the planet that eat cooked food. You ever hear of a wild animal getting cancer or heart disease? [addsig]

Heh Gwil, you bastard but I'd already written about milk before I saw your post.

I don't care what people eat, and I'm not worried about animal rights. I just think people should know what they're doing to themselves. [addsig]

There's a huge difference between meat and processed meat. I would never ever eat that crap that contains every bit of the animal.

The only meat I really eat is chicken. Horrah. [addsig]
