the author of the turkeyburgers series of maps was a guy by the name of Steve Martin.

well on the other hand....i guess anybodys map he "edits" and calls his own should be flattered.

The problem I find with the "flattery" is that the people who decompile and release maps are ones who are not of higher skill...those mappers have their own maps to release. I don't want someone using my map and releasing a sub-par version and giving it a bad name, because often they don't even refer to the original author. So if you hear about "mapA" and you've only seen the s**t version then why would you ever want to play "mapA" again? You wouldn't and wouldn't know that a better original existed.
