Well they hook some of us up from ankle to shoulder.. I was the first.
You loose all motor control, you feel as if your body is at the same time vibrating in every direction at super sonic speeds, while being compressed. Then it feels like your being set on fire while a billion needles are stuck in every pour on your body.
I have what they call the TASER TATTOO, it is something I hope to never have to do again.. lets put it this way.. as much as I may dislike some on this forum, I would not wish it to happen to them ever.

Sounds brutal. So they don't shoot it at you then? Either way that is good that you wouldn't wish it on some asshats, it shows you have the integrity necessary to be a cop serving in one of America's toughest citys.

Thanks Flynn.. Yeah, from my understanding they no longer shoot the taser into officers, any longer. You get a much better jolt from the hook up than you do from the two barbs hitting you. I have a barb I collected from my shooting of the taser at a metal target, its nasty!
We had the option of going from ankle to hip, or from ankle to shoulder... also known as bragging rights. I was the first guy to go for bragging rights.. just proves what an idiot I really am, lol. I am glad however that I had that experience, I hope to never ever have to do it again.
Today my whole body feels like I had a 3 hour gym work out with soreness.

. as much as I may dislike some on this forum.
The irony is that you haven't even noticed that since you stopped attacking members that the arguments over stupid postings has ended. Although, I doubt that you'll be able to refrain for long.

You and the Airplane dude
See, you did it again.
This is a public forum. WE ARE ALL ALLOWED TO COMMENT FREELY!!! (Not attack freely but comment!!!)
This includes even you. However it is NOT OUR OBLIGATION to overlook your idiosyncrasies.
We can of course do so, but you cannot demand we do so.
All I have done today was point out how peaceful it was. That's about as benign as I can be.
Post your smiley faces all you like, but if you do some more peculiar things we can and probably will notice them.
Get mad if you like. I'd prefer you got smart though. The post counts are so low that sadly YOU BECOME THE HIGH POINT.

Orph is incorrect in one aspect. It is not a public forum ... however ... it's just semantics, because it is an OPEN forum. Which means everything he said about people being free to comment how they see fit still applies.
It doesn't have to be publicly controlled or unmoderated for this to be an open community. Being an open community also means everyone here can influences what happens on the site and how it will evolve. Even if "ownership" (which is what you're arguing) comes down to one person, or a panel of people.
Even in the sense of "public" property 'the people' do not actually own it ... the city does. And the city can choose, without the communities consent, what they do with it. The argument of what is and isn't public and how you define that is very silly as a result (Not to mention, even if there is an avenue for "the public" to cease this sort of behavior, it's rarely possible in reality and only stands as a conceptual idea of being "public").
So, please stop arguing semantics. Orph, call it open, not public.

Neat segment from Time Warp.
Locally they tend to be a little heavy (and quick to use) taser ... multiple people have died from it.

I don't know exactly where I'm suppose to find case files on the matter, though. But the first one ... the guy was tased and immediately stopped breathing and could not be resuscitated, thus was killed.
Considering you have no idea what the physical or health conditions of the suspect are or how their organs will react to an introduced electrical charge ... it's perfectly possible there could be an undesired effect of stopping the heart or cease certain brain activities ... like controlling the lungs ... Just because it's not the NORMAL voltage/current level on most tested humans ... doesn't mean it can't happen in the real world. This is what confidence intervals are for.
I don't think Riven is really allowing anything and everything to happen ... his stance is perfectly reasonable ... not much has really happened that would warrant moderation. I'm sure if there was legitimate trolling it'd be a different situation entirely ... It'd be nice if you stopped being such a dick about his attitude of indifference to your squabbling and simply get over your knotted panties.

In high school chemistry class the teacher hooked us up to a static generator, and had the class form a giant circle by holding hands, then sent a current through the entire class. I don't think its on the same level as being tasered, but it felt like there were little firecrackers going off in my wrists, and it made all my muscles tense up.
I've had pepper spray rubbed in my eyes before though. Not a pleasant experience to say the least.
