Well how is posting random s**t like that contributing? Post count should be for the pure enjoyment/likeness to talk and socialize.
A good thing to do would be to make posts in the editing forums and map forums apply but definitely not the General Banter!

lol negative votes are "no"s- "meh"s are votes of indifference (which I'll read into meaning it's up to the boss again
)

course its up to the boss, but do they really think this way where you live?
i mean. #1 is yes, #2,3 and 6 all are different ways of saying no, only #4 and 5 are indifferent..
i find it interesting to think that you (lep) have so many shades of grey.. i am a black/white person in my thinking, but i do recognize no answers when i see them.
*scratches buttocks*
very interesting indeed..
i realize there is only one kind of yes, but there are many levels of no, or at least.. thats how i was raised to believe.
my belief has always been, yes means yes, but anything short of yes, is no, so in other words go with the side of caution, and take any other answer besides yes, as no..
*shakes head*
never would have guessed.

there are polls with no "Yes/No" answers of course matt, but these polls that has them would be boring if those were the only 2 choices, such as this one.. i only added 3-6 to fill in the page, i didn't care, nor think 3-6 had any relevance at all otherwise..
people who are indecisive, or disinterested only skew the results anyways.. questions that are "Yes/No" have no other pertinent outcomes..
say the indifferent won (hypothetically) then the results are skewed, because now lep needs to chose a result, be it "keep the system as is" in which case the "YESES" win, or lose the system, and the "NO;s" win..
as i said, only 1 and 2 are relevant.. 3-6... mean squat.

| I couldn't give a monkies whetever or not they add to it. 3 and 6 are other ways of saying no and therefore matter. |

| lol 3 and 6 are opinions on the nature of your poll, not on the matter you're bringing up! Only a charlatan would argue they are votes for a 'no'- otherwise they'd just click 'no'- and I spit on you and your ancestors |
now.. me being whom i am.. specifically an "accused negative personality" are you saying 3 and 6 refer to the poll? or their relevance to numbers 1 and 2?
it could be realistically read both ways you know.. as in "who cares about another dumb poll", or "who cares about snarkmarks."
also, i have met people who refuse to be pinned down to either a "yes" or "no" response, for whatever principal they are inclined to at the moment.. these people i have never understood, but know they exist.
either way, we are both right i guess, but i still find it an interesting concept..
may i ask, does everyone share your concept where you live? or is it just your own magnetic personality?
this is only intended as a discussion, not a debate on the pro's and con's of a poll... polls in themselves are not always reflective of an opinion cause, someone else may have chosen 4 different examples/choices for 3-6 had THEY posted this.

since you are either incapable of discussing it, or unable cause i have failed once again to pose my responses in such a way as to make it either an interesting discussion, or have in fact struck a nerve of sorts, the topic just died..
someday i hope to have a discussion that doesn't involve politics or religion survive the second page
polls, are a way to incite responses in directions, not a decisive way to view stuff..
anyways, i give up, so ends the 1st user made poll.. hopefully the second one will fare better without me making it.

Look at the actual poll post- there are no snarkmarks/member number/user online/offline on it.
Oh, and here was my understanding of the poll and it's options:
1 = Yes, I think they should be added.
2 = No, I don't think they should be added.
3 = It really doesn't make a difference to me either way.
4 = I don't know what a snarkmark is, so I can't make a decision either way.
5 = I can see the system benefiting/suffering from adding or removing it, but I don't know which would be best.
6 = This is a dumb question to ask, and I will put a mark here to be both clever, witty, and unhelpful all at the same time.
So they all have different meanings... and not all are negative... [addsig]

you being more of a positive personality monkee, you would no doubt read it thus..
i can read them the same for the most part, but would substitute some of the words in 3,5 and 6 if asked.
it would be interesting, from a clearly clinical standpoint to actually see how we each interpret these 6 possible answers..
anyone up to it besides me and monkee?
for the record tho, i feel the poll is finished, and am not attempting to fish for why you voted the way you guys did, i still think you can answer and remain anonymous.
