So my question is, if you had a choice, what would be the controls (on a keyboard) to make your player lay prone in addition to crouching? Would it be a separate key, or would it be a double-press of the crouch key? Maybe something entirely different? I figure most of the people here have played games with this action at one time or another and I want to know what you think was the most convenient setup.

Now remember kids. Asking questions is a good way to get censored by the government.

I use separate keys.
Ghost Recon had a "stance up/stance down" system ... it didn't work very well for most things. It forced you to take the game very slow.
I imagine a much better system would be something that's context sensitive and understands cover in the world ... that'd be a better system than a generic "now you're crouching or proned" sort of stance.

Blame it on Microsoft, God does.
