Nice, I'd perfer a nice fiber optic line, but normal broad band is...okay... lol.
I really wanted to make that media center for recording and watching tv shows, and other general purpose uses. It would just kick ass and be very convienent . . . . i can't spell at 3am. I'm going to bed. [addsig]

It's called eBay
Theres always old stuff on there that people are virtually giving away.
I wouldn't use kazaa. The company that bought it are able to monitor what you download. Somebody I know got a letter from AOL/Time Warner, saying 'you have these ilegal films shared, what are you going to do about it?', and they use KMD. K-Lite used to be good, but the latest protocol blocks any client using this, so before long, you won't be able to get much off kazaa wihtout using their official client. I recommend eMule - it takes a couple of days to get going, but after the initial warmup, it's awsome.

I thought KMD and K++ ran off the gnutella network? There're a lot of gnutella clients floating around... I don't think anyone can actually block it that way. It can't be too tough to just change clients, can it?
