Ah, sweet I remember reading that years ago. We need some good Sci-fi again.

Your riches in life are family and friends, everything else is just a distraction.

Truth be told, I have been waiting for this movie since I was a teen. I am much more excited about this one.

I'm not particularly comfortable with giving Orson Scott Card money, to be honest.

You know, all of us are still waiting for the punch line.

Cut the snark. There is no punch-line, I don't support the guy.

He's got a pretty large anti-homosexual agenda, and active oppression of various differing groups pisses me off. Not really anything else to it.

Just wasn't like you to make such a short post.

As long as he isn't MORE annoying with his anti-homosexual crap as some people are with their pro-homosexual crap, I don't see the issue.

I think it would be refreshing if both groups would just shut the fuck up. But, that's just my opinion.

The guy tried to help pass legislation making homosexual behavior illegal (which sounds absurd, but he did). He's also very vocal about claiming homosexuality and pedophilia are related in nature. Which is ridiculous. (One doesn't equate to the other)

I don't think there's any special treatment necessary ... but that's sort of the problem right? People want special treatment either for homosexuals or against them. In either case it's ridiculous that people still argue a homosexual person can't do various things in society just because they're homosexual and it actually has no baring on whatever people are opposed to them doing.

This is flat out societal bigotry and a method of persecution, and that pisses me off. So, I don't support the guy. It's as simple as that.
