Dood.. When I am talking about age, I mean AGE. You prolly dunno what its like to constantly worry that some parent some place may notice that a child of theirs is talking to a very old man.
THAT stigma is not something I have any control over but it is a VERY real concern.
It was one of the first things Riven and I discussed when we met. I was still sorta worried that he was a kid pretending to be of legal age. You never know these things in advance.
If you want to help REMOVE any stigmas here at Snarkpit, how about you broaden your horizons beyond what YOU feel is important and think about someone elses viewpoint for a change. You automatically assumed I was picking on the old people/young pup thing when all along it was something MUCH more important.
You are back to the pot calling the kettle black again, and I for one don't like it one bit.

I must admit I have became more aware of this since becoming a "man" as opposed to a teenager I was a few years ago. I'm not looking forward to getting older, this being one of the reasons nowadays. When I joined this website I was 13 and Orpheus was a little funny about interacting with me, now I understand why that was. Can't say I blame him in this day and age.

My first account (Freeman) was banned because I taunted an Admin (I think it might have been Leperous) that he wouldn't ban me. The next time I tried to login, that account it not exist. I was right, they didn't ban me, they deleted me.

It should be but I am betting NOBODY here (or elsewhere) will.
An event that happened 10 or 15 years back:
My brother-in-law and his girlfriend at the time was 17 and 16 respectively. They were doing what comes natural for teens. Anyway, when he turns 18, she turns 17 and HE GOES TO JAIL.
Now, because of the law and the sex offender registration act he has a noose around his neck for the rest of his life.
Mind you, we need to watch pedophiles but these kids had been at it for a year or more but because of a loophole/misrepresentation/over zealous law official, he went to jail when he was 18 because she was a minor still.
All I can say is, if you guys are just now turning, or have recently turned 18, you truly need to rethink your actions. I would hate to see a repeat of my inlaws event.
That's crazy, over here we have a law that says if you are within two years then it doesn't count. Hell, the courts wouldn't be able to cope with the amount of people if they tried to prosecute everybody at it. It seems more strict in America.
