AMD FX-8320 CPU
GSKILL DDR3 1866 8GB RAM (CAS 10)
EVGA GeForce GTX 560 SC 2GB GPU
2 HDD, 250GB Maxtor drive (sadly only running at 60MB/s) and a WD Caviar Black 1TB (130MB/s)
24" Hannspree LED LCD monitor 1920x1080 + 42" Samsung Plasma @ 1080p
I also have an optic connection to a Yamaha audio receiver with 5.1 audio.

... and I need to buy an optic drive. I was going to use my DVD burner ... but when building the computer I noticed the board has no PATA connectors!

Installing stuff was not simple!

By far the two limiting factors of my machine are the main HDD's speed (seriously, neither of the drive I own are even 6 Gbps... and only SSD can even get close to the SATA theoretical maximum) and the Graphics Card. I'd really like to get a GTX 670 4GB card. :sigh:

The board I put in can be seriously upgraded. It CAN do 4 way SLI OR Crossfire. But it can only do dual card SLI or Crossfire at full 16x speed.

The CPU can't actually go up much higher. I'm one chip down from the AMD's highest end desktop chip currently. I imagine ASUS might release some BIOS update to allow the next AM3+ chips to run on it as long as they're 125W or lower.

The RAM can go up to 32GB. I plan on utilizing that first ... after getting a HDD and DVD drive.

Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

Yeah, it's been a long time coming.

The only thing is, now I'm really getting limited by the HDD speeds I've got. I actually get lag sometimes in games because it's waiting on the hard drive because the game has already addressed it's 4GB space or whatever.

Really pisses me off that they're not 64-bit yet. smiley

My current rig is as follows:
Cooler Master CM STORM Trooper Case
ASUS P8Z68V-Pro MOBO with a CoreI7 2600K CPU
Corsair H-100 liquid CPU cooler
16GB Corsair PC2100 RAM
PNY GEForce GTX680 4gig graphics (single card)
2-128gb Corsair Performance pro SSD's (One has Win7, one has Win8)
2-1TB WD Black Caviar Hard drives
2TB Iomega external Hard drive
2-ASUS Blu-ray read/write drives
Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 1200w PSU
Asus 24" 1920X1080 monitor
Dell 23" Monitor (going to get two more of the ASUS monitors when I get back to work)

I'm hoping that with any relative luck, this rig should hold me over for at least another year without any upgrades whatsoever, barring any new technology revelations. I may , however, if I have a good month or two, go for dual Graphics cards though. LOL.
