If you are looking for this update, chances are you werent able to find it. Sadly, CDRU turned to using P2P systems to download their updates.

There is only 2 download links to get it, the first dosent work, the second requires you to have a P2P program like Emule or KaZaA etc.

I was finaly able to download it, so if anyone wants it, holler at me.

Why not just install emule? It's only about 4 megs.

That is true, but it is also faster to download it without. It took me 3 days (well, 3 ate hour periods) to get it. And I had to transfer it to my other computer with a burner so I uploaded it and redownloaded it in less than 10 minutes.

Ultimatly, what does it come to? 10 minutes versus 3 days.

That and I hate P2P programs

Emule is slow when you first start... If you want it for only one file then I guess it sucks, but if you set up your port forwarding properly so you don't get LowID anymore, you can get a constant 2/3rds of your connection speed after a couple of days.

the should use BitTorrent

ONLY use the bit torrent that allows you to govern the upload, else you will regret using bit torrent at all..

THIS bit torrent.. ONLY

i wasn't trying to steal your thunder jinxy, but i messed up originally by using the original torrent GUI, and with my DSL it stole ALL my upload bandwidth.. it was horrible.. i searched long and hard for this particular torrent GUI.. i recommend it to everyone..

There is a program for windows called NetPeeker, it allows you to cap the upload/download bandwidth of any windows program.

netpeeker huh?

sounds cool, i may need to look into it, but no promises.. the GUI of the torrent i posted, is an all-in-one packaged deal, i set it, and its done.

thanx jeff

Morning Orph

I'm not saying you should use netpeeker instead, it's just nice to use if you want to run greedy programs that assume you want them to use your entire bandwidth

missed you too jeff

i just read up on this program of yours, sure it shows you where its going, but i see no way to adjust the speeds in anything.. are you sure of this?

google search it, if you need to, but i am truly interested, since my uploads are my weakness while online... i would favor any program that will allow me to preset bandwidth usages.. i am not really interest in monitoring them, but yeah, setting them would be nice.
