Ah I've been playing on the LAN with a couple of mates - great fun Will be even better with the full 4, its always a bit too easy for the bigger side with only 3 people. [addsig]

Wow, its bloody brilliant!

Ive only had one game so far, wich was with the mercenaries, but I must say: This game owns.

So alright, more detailed. I join a game, start up in a small chat room with the 3 other players who are in the game before the match starts. Chat around a bit, choose some equipment and click ready. Me and my team buddy starts up in this amazingly unlit area. Turn on the torches and start searching for spies. Plant some mines or a spy trap (didnt figure out what that is yet) while sneaking around. Suddenly, a alarm breaks saying theres a intruder in a certain room (weve got some sort of detectors, dont ask). We storm over and just too see a spy running through the room into the shadows and jumping up a vent for cover. It is very exciting. The game ended with my team winning, I got 4 kills and my team buddy got 0. Im gonna buy this.

I'm convinced the Xbox version will be better, the controls are a little suspect, and to me games like this suit a control pad better than keyboard.

EDIT: Gonna have to pimp this link here, to convince any naysayers...

I agree, this is super-bitchin'. The only problem is an odd audio thing: isntead of sound or music, all I get is a strange "dddddddddddddd" sound,. almost like static. at first I thought it was just some odd menu music, because there were actual pitch and tone changes in it, but nope, it happens in game as well. Makes it very hard to listen for things. [addsig]

There is one problem though. Mouse sensitivity is too low, even at the highest value. I play with a sensitivity of about 10-12 in HL and the highest value (20) in SCpt is like 4 in HL. Slow. [addsig]

good luck all

and both torrents running fastly.. for torrents that is

roughly 12k each.

Play SP first. Get a hold of the controls, understand the game. Then hit the MP, and love it!

I play with 3 in HL. So I'd be fine.

I thought the mood of that one level was nice and creepy, just like it should be. I haven't played it much yet, but I am definately intrigued. It's good to see someone pushing stealth gameplay in multiplayer.
