Orph can easily fill any topic with posts. (Now I know this is going to be one...)

I wonder if Lep's algorithm for allocating post numbers is dynamic. Meaning, does your post number go down if you posted on a thread which later got deleted .... hmm. [addsig]

I dont know. Then again, I've only seen one deleted thread, the rest of 'em just get locked. [addsig]

sadly i think you are correct, but remember i am the one trying desperately to get lep to disable post counting at all..

i have takin a beating over my counts, especially in V3 which was well over 7,000 with second place about 1/3 of that

post counts cause small people to be assholes about them.

ever once in a while, someone with nothing better to do, will point out i am snarkpits local forum whore, because of my post counts. usually something about my having nothing better to do, or my laurels or some such..

it stings to be called whore.

It cheats by storing your post count seperately (adding 1 with new posts, taking them away when deleting etc.), so it'd dynamic but also b0rkable probably
