Evil Crono, some computers just aren't supposed to blend in. Even though I believe the cases that were showed here are ugly piles of crap, because they barely have any casemodding potential which means no creativity on the part of the builder.
And while we're at it, on the subject of computer chassis starting to look more like overspiffified cars.
Here you go, a computer in a car!
And another one!

One of my pet peeves is messed up computer cases. Not to mention screwed up looking cars. There's a difference between 'cool' and 'crap'. I mean, in all actuality doing crap like this to your computer/car/whatever is only your attempt at impressing others. I mean, think about it, would you really want neon cathode lights in your computer if you lived in a remote place where no one else lived? (going on the assumption that you went somewhere to get these parts) Probably not.
No one who thinks differently on the subject is going to listen to what I'm saying, but ... in my personal opinion I think it is silly, to say the least, to do things like this to your computer (I also think its silly to do crap like this to your car). But, everyone has different taste ... I just think that these cases are in bad taste.
Now, if the design was different they might be enjoyable to look at, but all the designs people have put up here are gaudy to say the least. [addsig]

I like the style mid tower. I've seen cases resemble cars, airplanes, etc. But I found those ugly as Orph after getting up in the morning. And Im sick of the traditional beige cases. They look so plain. I dont know thats just me. But aswell, good looking (modded cases if you will) cases also show a good computer. I mean, if you have a P4/Athlon XP and everything is your pic modded etc, would you hide all that pride inside a plain beige case? I wouldnt.
Anyways, I droped the acrylic case, since they sold the last one on the discount thingy. But they have a very nice one I'm considering. It black and blue with a side window which is all I want. well, the window anyways, black and blue just happend to be my fav. colors.

I like being able to see inside the computer, because its the inside that counts, and I want to be able to see/show off both my pride in the computer I have built and because I like to see the inside.
