timezone may be an issue...not sure- e.g. all Australian gamers online, fragging away having the time of their lives. they all go to sleep (work school etc) when most (all?) of the US and UK players come online and miss out on playing a gainst them. Not really a problem, imo, but more of an inconvinence, not been able to play all clan mates @ once...

ive had this clan name floating in me head for about 3 months now Skilled Civilian -was going to be a potential name for a potentiial HL2 mod but eh! Skilled Civilian Clan anyone?

btw Adam, something like 90% of all clans that are created die within the first month, coz they concentrate on only doing the web site and other crap

How hardcore is this, someone wants to create a HL2 clan and the game isn't even out yet, we dont even know if HL2 multiplayer is going to RULE or suck to there is no end (although I think it will rule).

But you can count me in if you decide to do it.

i am currently inquiring with my DSL provider for a domain name.. suggestions concerning a clan name and appropriate web address is highly encouraged.

I'd love to play with you guys, but I don't see the need to create a seperate site for the sake of a few of us playing together. I'm sure Lep would give you a forum if you asked nicely. That radiant one is pretty dusty...

I don't think I'd join a huge clan like DRS used to be / is. I used to play in a couple of clans but they had no more than say 15 members, so you could ensure everyone knew everyone and everyone could play together well. I think giant clans are a waste of time personally, and doubt I'd join. I may if it was kept reasonably sized however.

[DRS] has 11 members at the moment, four are administrators, and one is a parrot or some other kind of bird.

Orph, what excatly do you want the clan to be? Do you want a fully functioning clan or just a tag for us to play together as a group under?

I reckon we get fishy to make a skin for each of our heads.

i want a clan, reflective of [DRS] when i ran it.

those of you who were there, can verify its stability,team work, and spirit.

a clan that "fun" is the primary driving force... and showing up for matches is never a requirement.

most of you know me by now.. i want in a clan,with... what i brought with me to snarkpit.. its up to you to decide, what that was, and if its for you or not... my spouting the glories of [DRS] will never entice you to join.. it was my clan, most would see that as biased..

the only difference this time.. i don't wanna be boss, i wanna follow this time.. yeah have influence, but running a clan took 95% of my online time.. i did that for 4 years.. now its someone elses turn.

if you have time, read the rules,goals and other documents at the [DRS] home pages.. those are mostly my words you will read.. i still believe in them.

you.... decide.
