Heh, we've actually got Battlestar Galactica before the US - which makes a nice change. It's OK, but has none of the original charm, they've make it all 'gritty' and 24ish, complete with 'wobbly-cam' all the time. It won't help your motion sickness mate [addsig]

Had the dubious honour of watching Napolean Dynomite recently. It sucked! The bad music was the best part.

Nope, but I saw a series of unfortunate events today, it was ok but a bit predictable.

I saw White Noise last night. Don't see it unless someone else is paying. Orph this is your que to download it if you really want to see it.

It was damn funny at times though. Someone yelled out, "This movie SUCKS" at one point, best damn part. I love that guy, even though I have no idea who he is.

The trailer for White Noise was crap, so I assume the movie won't be much better. They just seem to be trying too hard to scare me, when in reality it comes off as over the top and ever so pretentious.

That's the thing though, it isn't a bad movie. Like at all. It's just ... funny at the same time. It's hard to explain. But it isn't "crap" like National Treasure.

Saw The Life Aquatic over the break. Loved it. Completely dull deadpan humor with some silly and zany action mixed in... yeah. It just rocked. Willem Dafoe's best role yet (crazy emotional German dude). [addsig]

funny, i forgot completely till this morning. it finished and we watched it just now.

what i find truly astounding is the depth the show is exhibiting. its not really new of a theme, but the intrigue is good enough to keep me glued/enthralled.

what i am finding difficult to accept is, how will they keep the series going. will it be one of those "Janeway" I'm going home type of shows, or will it be "Robinson Crusoe"?

the mysterious "other" people have me guessing too.

i think this series is going places. sadly i though earth 2 and other similar movies would as well. lets hope the producers like it as much as i.

people, if you haven't watched any "Lost" episodes.. you need to

Watched The Aviator tonight, overall decent flick, as somehow DiCaprio and Baldwin managed to act in a semi-savory fashion. Oh, and my pseudo-lover Kate Beckinsale kind of acted for once too, I hope that's a good sign for the future. [addsig]

Like most movies that deal with the subject, the movie's treatment of eccentricity/insanity was pretty shallow and dealt with things at face value.

i like old dick van dyke movies

[edit] i just read the credits. benny hill and phil colins were both in this movie

I forget who writes the comic book, but he says he pulls everything out of his ass. Still good though.
