due to children and grand children, i have seen "Babe" multiple times.
today i watched it for the first time. the on cue scenes, and the subtle innuendo had me rolling. anywho's i highly recommend watching it. especially if you are like me and like looking for things inside movies.
Hugo Weaving did a fair dog character.. for those whom like the actor ![]()

Yeah, good film - I felt it lacks something after the initial hard hitting approach of boot camp, like it switches themes from dehumanising the soldiers then becomes a bit of a "fill in the gaps" film.
If they had the horrible boot camp from FMJ and the massacre scenes from Platoon they woulda had a 'Nam film spot on.
Still definately worth watching FMJ though (it is Kubrick after all!)

I heard they made yet another "Peter Pan" type movie.. :/
why can't they remake something worth while like say... the Challenger disaster?
seriously though, if they are going to remake movies, they should at least wait till the current generation grows old.. it wasn't that long ago that Robin Williams made a version.

However, I do like Hook more, just because of Dustin Hoffman.
I saw "Elektra", now before you get your panties in a bunch, you should know it's "good". If you liked Daredevil (especially the MUCH IMPROVED director's cut) you'll enjoy Elektra. Not to mention, Elektra is better. Daredevil was just too "Afleked".

you invite people to call you on things, you know that?
i don't believe anyone BUT you actually goes around with their shorts all in knots 24/7
i was thinking of seeing that particular flick myself..
i would most likely watch any comic book related movie at least once, even if it was absolutely the worse rendition out there. in fact, i think i have already, at least as far as the old ones go.. most of those were atrocious, but i watched them ![]()

Quite possibily. That is, if you can ignore all the horrible holes in the logistics of time that's presented to you, and just accept that what happens, happens.

IMO, as stupid as it may seem, "Bill and Ted's excellent adventure" was one of the better time travel movies.
they touched on many of the quirks time travel can create.. my favorite part was where they are discussing placing the keys behind the box and when they look, the keys are there already.

I watched Back to the Future 1-3 last night. 2 is still my favorite, because it's the best one. I like 3 even less now, though. There were some deleted scenes for all the movies, and honestly, they all should have stayed in. They're wonderful.

The main thing I didn't like about it was the abrupt mood changes- I get the story, and it wasn't as bad of a story as I thought it would be, but it still seemed very choppy. [addsig]

I can see that. I thought it worked
... but that's from a comic book aspect. The only thing I was like,
"uhhh" about was his name, Mark Millar. Good writer ... has
never written anything DD related ... ever. I don't know why they
didn't make his name "frank" since Frank Millar made up
Elektra and wrote most all of the good DD stuff (the best Batman
stuff too). Maybe, it's because he was in DD for a split second ...
that still pisses me off that Keven Smith got a "part"
while Frank Millar got a pen in his forehead ... I would have much
preferred it the other way around.

I was hoping Jennifer Garner had a third mode: "naked."

I watched "Fear and loathing in las vegas" and finally realized where Gwil's old avatar came from. I didn't care for the movie, however.
Also watched Full Metal Jacket (great one) Anyone recognise pvt. pyle as the detective on "Law and order: Criminal Intent",
Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle I thought that it was a very funny movie and has a great soundtrack that just seems to fit. It reminds me of my life, without the weed.
Also watched Boondock Saints, It was a great flick as well. Willem Dafoe dresses as a woman and it is fecking hillarious! Just marvelous.
Watched Napoleon Dynamite, Very Funny and reminded me of the 80's and all of my brothers whom i spent the 80's with.
Watched Resident Evil, I am a great fan of the "trapped-in-a-lab-kill-zombies-and-devils" genre. I liked this movie, and I wished it was longer with more killing and stuff.
The girl next door, was an okay movie. Wasn't too excited with this one really...
Secret Window, was a good flick with a good plot twist. I am a fan of Johnny Depp, He doesn't take himself too seriously and get all pissed and fights everyone like some of those hollywood types. (*cough*RusselCrowe!*cough*) (I like russel crowe too he just fights too much.)
Wet Hot American Summer, is a great funny movie I am a fan of Chris Meloni, because he is very versatile as an actor. Chris is also in Harold and Kumar.
I don't know if you all noticed that i had been away for a week, but i Downloaded all these movies so i could watch them on my Laptop (named RedQueen, BTW) while I was away. I went Skiing and It was great. I try to go every year.
Did you know I liked Van Helsing?

re-watched "6 days,7 nights"
i still bust a gut at the part where the dingy blonde opens the rubber raft inside the cockpit of the plane.
the part where she is firmly pressed against the glass, but still has the moxie to flip him a bird.. tis gold, truly gold.

i recently watched shades of gray, its the best homemade/amature movie i have seen. Writing, directing, acting, editing are all great for being this sort of movie. Its about a group of friends that take revenge on an old friend that has been a pain in the @ss to them (like he slept with one's gf and sister). its fast paced with some good music here and there. its 75min long, 200 mb, and free
