They all share too. AND You can put anything you want on hold. They're not really "funded" per say, pretty much everything they have was donated, which is pretty amazing, because they have like everything except absolutely new releases. Also, they charge a bit if you're late. You get the stuff for seven days, but, they charge you $1.00 per day per DVD after that. Needless to say, I never risk being late, since I usually have about nine titles out at a time (You can rent 25 at any given time)
Anyway, if you're not lazy, everything is good because it's all free.

Rented some movies (choices were not my own), the only one rented that I hadn't seen was Sky High. I thought the movie looked "alright" by the trailers.

It wasn't too bad. I was actually surprised at how funny it was ... until the plot becomes ridiculously obvious. Granted I enjoyed the movie, for the most part ... I'd rather watch The Incredibles ... they're very similar. While there were many people in the movie that I enjoy: Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead, Spider-Man, Alien Apocalypse), Dave Foley (Kids in the Hall, News Radio), Kevin McDonald (Kids in the Hall), Kevin Heffernan (Super Troopers), there were many things I didn't like. It starts out really well, and it really funny ... and like a lot of movies, when they tried getting down to the plot ... it just fell apart. Everything past 50 minutes into the movie, or so, is completly and ridiculously obvious.

The other major downfall: It's a superhero movie with one ... mildly shown ... giant monster fight. Spoiler: <|The pathetic "capture" tactic used by the villain is ... so stupid. Granted the idea, when you think about it, is poetically evil and rather ironic. It was just the poor delivery.|>

I'd suggest seeing it if you have some time to kill and didn't pay too much (if anything) to see it. Other than that: don't bother.

Had 13 hours of bus riding this weekend to get to and from 2 different colleges for swim meets. The rides were pretty boring, but we watched quite a few movies.

Bloodsport, Gladiator, Heavyweights, and 40 Year Old Virgin.

Gladiator is obviously an amazing movie, and 40 Year Old Virgin is really really funny. I enjoyed it more the second time through.

Heavyweights is every Disney token fat kid thrown into one movie, but its worth seeing because of Ben Stiller.

Yeah, Ben Stiller kicks some serious ass. Zoolander is still my favourite of his.

Watched Ong-Bak today in the English dub (watched the original Thai w/subs before). Which solidified my preference for subs in movies, it just doesn't convey the same feeling. And that movie is just good fun to watch.

I saw Arlington Road a couple of weeks ago. Still a good movie, although if you have seen it once, the fun's over.

I've also seen Hostage, with Bruce Willis, which was enjoyable too. Finally came to watch Sin City, which was superb, of course.

Another one to watch is Layer Cake, but keep your ears and eyes open, the plot is not that simple.

Watched The Rundown the other day, pretty decent flick if a bit ridiculous (yeah, The Rock's a badass, but taking down 20 guys with guns without using a gun? Balderdash!)

Watched Dawn Of The Dead (original version) a few weeks ago, good flick, also a bit ridiculous but that can be blamed on the special effects of the 70's. Pretty s**tty survivalist tactics too, but I guess during a zombie invasion you can't expect everyone to be at the top of their mental game.

Saw the remake of the previous movie tonight, everyone seemed too calm to be in a zombie movie. Pretty amazing to see that people are still in the mood during a zombie invasion as well. So yeah, remake's got better special effects but it's just not as cool as the original. Especially those fast zombies, it makes it more exciting but it's just plain stupid.

i'm watching Lost, i'm currently at episode 4 of season 2. nice that it's not your usual run of the mill show. nice tension. sometimes predictable though. best bit i saw untill now was Locke's dream about Boone saying "theresa falls up the stairs, Theresa falls down the stairs"

watched a few other movies, like Narnia. wasn't displeased with it, the effects made up for the family-film aspects

Yeh, it's a good movie, shame I had to see it with Bitchel.

Rented Ecks vs. Sever last night for the reason that I'd never heard of it, and now I realize it was mostly for good reasons. :P Cool enough action and all but simultaneously boring.
