A bit late yes, but still a great movie. I just saw it last night, and I love it. If you havent seen it yet, go out and buy it. Not everyone will like this movie though.

I cannot wait for Kill Bill VOL.2

Especially the scene where all the cut bodies are lying on the ground in that restaurant ... fantastic ! (the Anime part innit is great, too)

The most impressive part of Kill Bill is how Tarantino managed to make the overwhelming amount of style be pretty coherent with the story rather than having it branch off and become abstract. It's a shame he only used to song on the trailer only once, and in a bad spot

Yeah, in a lot of action parts where some music was starting to play..It just stopped abruptly. That seemed kind of annoying to me, and sometimes even bland when the fights came on. [addsig]

Mmm... I've seen it twice, once with Cass. Kinda like a date.

the music is like that to give it more of a 60/70's feal, which is what Tarantino wanted.
the most noticable bit is when she's getting into the truck, the camera angle changes and the music go's mid beat.
bit over done, but i liked it.

I really need to get the soundtrack to this movie..that song at the beginning, goes like "he shot me down, shot me down", is a good 'un. [addsig]

Well I downloaded it and it is NOT what I was expecting by the description "catchy" I'm sure it works in the movie, but not to my tastes as a stand alone song. [addsig]

The good song on the Kill Bill Soundtrack is track 10: Santa Esmeralda - Don't Let Me be Misunderstood. So awesome.

yea it was a decent movie. I thought that the anime scene was insanely cool. Funny when she scalps the asian girl at the end. Cos you think shes chopped her head off, then you see her head on her body. I was, hmm... ohh! ...

I loved Kill Bill, taking that I'm just as big of a fan of all those genres and styles as Tarantino is.

I'm just glad it was better then Jackie Brown. Also, if you didn't notice the anime sequence had animation direction by Hiroyuki Kitakubo (Blood).

Tarantino is a wonderful director and he does something that a lot of directors just can't do when they choose modern music; he chooses good music, which fits his style. The only thing he doesn't do well is act (Desperado, Dusk Before Dawn, all his "brotha's" Rodriguez's flicks I might add.)

April 16th, in the states ... oh yeah The Punisher comes out that day too ... all I can say about that is ... it'll be better then the other Punisher movie, which was horribly bad, but Luis Gosit Jr. was awesome in it ... as always. [addsig]

YES!!!! I listened to that song for like two months straight. That and ELO - Mr. Blue Sky, after watching the Eternal Sunshine trailer twenty times.

I don't think you really can compare any current Marvel-based movies with old ones. The Captain America movie? Terrible. They sent it straight to video. The Fantastic Four movie? So bad, they didn't even release it on video. There was also a fairly crappy, although slightly better, made-for-TV Generation X (X-men spin-off) movie. Starting with Blade, everything since has had a professionalism those early film forays lacked.
