I figure the forum display on the left is held in separate database tables, and the last post feature is just updated every time a newer post is made (a unix timestamp, probably). Therefore, because the newer post is gone, the forum doesnt have the date from the post, as it no longer exists.
Why 1969? Its a unix based webserver, and if a date cant be found/is incorrectly formatted etc on PHP, it'll just shout out the date of Unix's "inception" - 31st Dec 1969
Simple but round about right explanation i think..
everybody go answer questions, and it'll fix itself!

| ...last post December 31st, 1969? Jebus, Lep, clean out those cobwebs! Wonder where that error came from... |
i pointed this out to lep months ago.. he either ignored my PM, liked the date, or just plain forgot..
i found it humorous as hell, cause 69 is one year i will never forget.. 7 years old, and glued to the old B/W TV watching apollo landing on the moon..
anyways..........

| Orphs not that old really, my parents caught the end of rationing on certain foods after the 2nd world war |
I caught the rationing of all foods. Just one of the "wonderful" benifits of communism.

'69 is an homage alright, but not to a silly moon landing.
