i think what they mean korn is, people are now convinced their lives would be ruined without their phones, so if they pass a law forbidding its usage behind the wheel, all we will do is turn law abiding citizens into criminals, cause they will continue to use them.

the law, when it is finally enforced, will have to include fines other than money, cause as with other tickets, such as parking in fire lanes, or handy capped spots, people will always feel they are the center of the universe, how dare we infringe their right to park any damed place they feel.

if the fines do not include revoking their privilege (its a misconception that driving is a right, this is totally false) to drive, they will just pay the cash, rant a bit, and go back to using it.
