There's a big difference between 'popular' and 'one person on an online message board knows of them.' [addsig]

I'm surprised so many people like Mindless Self Indulgence. I mean, they are enjoyable and all for what they are, but worthy enough to mention them as one of your favorite bands?

Well...yeah. It's just way too easy to enjoy really. [addsig]

I'm a bit of a stickler for music and own too many CDs to really pick a few favourites. Of course i'm damn near broke because of it!

And jinx I never noticed you were from cleveland. I'm from canton so I guess we are kinda like brothers.

how old are you JFry? you should meet me and some people out at The Chamber sometime if you are 18 or over. lots of cool music

I'm 22 for now sounds cool I've never been to a real industrial club. Is that place in the flats? I tend to get lost everytime I go to cleveland.

I'm mostly into punk / ska / emo / rock, with a few other likes. I can't be bothered listing loads of bands so instead, here is my entire mp3 collection in a winamp playlist...

I don't know if you would be interested but there are a couple Aussie ska bands that I quite like that you probably might not of heard. They are;
Area 7
The Porkers

Not heard of Area 7, but I know of the porkers - used to have a couple of songs of theirs before I lost my entire mp3 collection due to a hard drive burning out Thanks for the reminder though will certainly try and get some tunes of theirs again, and try to find some Area 7 too.

I find Coldplay a little too moany for my liking, though I know a lot of mates who really like them, and I certainly have nothing against them. I prefer similar (well, sort of similar) bands though, such as The Get Up Kids, The Anniversary, Alkaline Trio, etc... [addsig]

Yup...all originals - i'm trying to cut down...honest!

And, Myrk, I haven't got all the Metallica albums as I can't really afford to get 'em yet, I fill in the blanks when I can Megadeth are an acquired taste I guess, cos I find his voice a little whiny to buy any of their albums (Cryptic Writings was a gift from my parents and Risk was from my sister )
