NS is unbalanced only if you have a team that knows what they are doing versus a clueless one, and that's not the fault of the mod.

Seeing as I've played DoD since 1.3b I'd have to say DoD. Don't play as often as I used to, but still crank it out once in a while.

Actually it was one person of whom I trust in opinions (unless it envolves movies, bleh.)
He basically said it's drawbacks were the other people playing.
and it felt like he was playing counter-strike 'gamers'.
Taking that he's also big on dod and both him and I are well aware of the not so skilled people in dod ... they become nice targets and let you crank up your kill count
But, maybe I'll give NS a shot sometime.
But, until I experience otherwise, dod will be my mod of choice ... until I ... wait you can't know about that yet ... [addsig]

People will call NS unbalanced until the two teams are identical and they battle back and forth with identical weapons and abilities on symmetrical maps. Actually, they still will then, too. |

It's not the balance of NS that I don't like, it's simply that I really just don't like the gameplay. It's gotten better, but I really can't enjoy it, it's mainly the atmosphere and style of the maps, I'm not one for dark small corridors.

Still, you have to admit, it's in a sorry state at the moment.

I chose HLdm although its not a mod, but I still prefer death match, cs is cool but it doesnt have the same fast action as HLDM does.
