You do realize most versions of Word for the last few years have an automatic recovery tool? [addsig]

Word is good in some areas, s**tty in others. Same with WordPerfect.
Word has a autosave feature, as far as I know, WordPerfect does not.
Word, around here, is more used than WordPerfect.
WordPerfect has better control over the page layout when inserting images. Word sucks at it.
Im more proficient in WordPerfect than Word.
Word is compatible with my PDA, WordPerfect isnt.

I have my auto save feature set every minute. And with my new CPU and ram, its not like before where it took time to save and would act like it was frozen, now it autosaves and I dont even realise it.
I use Ctrl+S, but only after I've written like 2 pages![]()

Polls are.....
- intended to provide distinct options to choose from;
- meant to allow people to select from a range of possible choices;
- supposed to offer genuine alternatives rather than just rehash your own opinion in different words;
- not a rhetorical device;
- all of the above.
you must vote to see the results

Too true.
People should go easy on the polls and stop clogging up the forum with useless crap
or, die at the hands of the admin team.
ITS ENTIRELY UP TO YOU!

Yes sorry about last night I was in a bit of a foul mood after that. And yes I do use Ctrl+S every paragraph or so. Needless to say, lessons have been learnt. *Brings out pen and paper*
