If everyone used IEspell, this wouldn't even be an issue now.

It should work fine in FF, I was still playing around with it when you posted that message so... :/

Lep, you been screwing with the site again? If not, theres a new bug.. when you post, it used to go to that post when you replied, now it goes to page #1.. no matter how far back page #1 is. <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/sad.gif">

Nope, I think it's an old bug when your reply starts a new page :/

Ye gods, you're right! But I haven't changed anything <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/mad.gif">

I'll suggest it again: we need a rule that says you cannot advertise a mod for recruitment if you have no media to show.

Not a huge deal, but the redirection after posting is redirecting me to the first page of the thread. I haven't noticed if the mode matters. Hang on ...

Well, it happens with normal reply and quick reply (though I doubt you have seperate code for refreshing after either)

Look a few posts upward Crono <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_wink.gif">

I'm getting a "There was a problem retrieving the article from the database, please try again." error when I try and click the link for the "Metrocop Guards" tutorial ( http://www.snarkpit.net/editing.php?page=tutorials&game=HL2&id=178 ). I says to try clicking the link again, but it happens every time.

I don't know if this is Firefox only but

1) Images in my posts don't get resized automatically
2) I think the pit's code is supposed to merge successive postings if they're from the same user. This doesn't happen for me either, even if the second message is posted very soon after the first.

See?

3) The "This message has been edited" warning doesn't seem to appear for FF users.
4) Gah. After I post a message, the pit doesn't take me to the most recent post in the thread, it takes me back to the beginning of the thread.

/me stops spamming now.

The post redirection and merging things are working now, I'll get working on the other stuff :/

Some of the icons for the map vault section don't work (image not found).

I think you should add a tutorial section for art. I mean you have a forum... It could be used to tell people how to do cool photoshop stuff...

Lep, I'm a little concerned about how the map comments/forum thread system works out. Yesterday I listed a map I was working on, and it received some comments overnight. Today I figured I should start a thread for the map, but doing so has meant the previous comments have been deleted. Shouldn't it just be the case that the comments system is "locked" until the map is complete, but the existing comments are retained? Or perhaps they could be transferred over into the forum thread somehow. Just doesn't seem right to me that they are deleted.

I agree. One time I spent a long time writing up a detailed critique of someone's map, and the next day they had created a map thread and my comment was gone! I didn't even get a chance to see his reaction to my input.

They haven't been deleted, they're still there and should re-appear once the map has been completed. Though you have a point that they should still be shown anyway...
