Fire... notepad, yes, firenotepad. Why don't you check the source and find out?

? quoting Leperous
The only problem I've seen recently is people (i.e. you Orph ) having a new line halfway through a URL, thus breaking the code! But the thing is, it's NOT hard to enter a proper URL with bbcode and get it working properly, so you can edit it. If however there are other ways to break the code which are easily reproduced, fire away

lep. as i said, i have been posting links to sites and images for a long time. this happened yesterday.

you think for a second i went mind numb and forgot how?

the bug, is not a big issue, but it was one i felt needed reporting.

the bug makes links look like this http://http://www.snarkpit.com

i do not break it apart or begin a new line to make it fit

Some images in this post have been automatically down-sized, click on them to view the full sized versions:

I just re-installed a bunch of stuff, and now I'm getting a bit of a problem in FF with the borders around posts being all missing and stuff... Not exactly sure what would cause the problem, but heres a picture-

I ain't done nuffing, guv'nor Why am I getting sick of Firefox and it's inability to show borders properly? In this case, it's meant to use an image- press refresh once or twice to see if that fixes it.

I was wondering if the all mighty Lep would consider adding an area about XSI. I haven't read all 77 or so pages of this thread so if it has been suggested please forgive me. I've noticed more and more XSI questions popping up and maybe you could add an area for it. Just a thought.

Just use Art. That being said, we don't have many modellers around here, and even fewer people who use XSI. And nobody uses the Art forum anymore. Say Lep, hows about making me the posthumous moderator of the Art forum?

Given that nobody actually seems to know anything about using this (awful) program, the answer is no, there's an Art forum

If this hasn't been asked, would it be possible to have a sort of "subscibe to this thread" type thing, where you get pm'ed/emailed whenever someone makes another post in the thread.

It's on my to-do list, along with a "sticky post" that acts like sticky topics (so people can display important info in topics such as this!).

We need to have an enforced map reviewing etiquette so s**t like this doesn't happen.

http://www.snarkpit.com/maps.php?map=1523 Read the comments. I don't fully side with either Yak or Denegatron, but we simply can't have discussions turning instantly sour because of that.

No, what we need is for Lep to fix the ability to edit reviews so that I can correct that stupid review. [addsig]

Any chance of removing the 'f**k' word filter or having it ignore urls please? My pit stopped working after I changed name and I didn't want to bother you, but now my new hosting has 'f**k' in the url.

Thread creators in the Maps fourm should be allowed to close old chapters to help maintain the flow of the discussion and help prevent confusion.

I've noticed a hell of a lot of birthday threads. It might be nice if the pit had a little calander in the people section and a DOB field in members details, an maybe automatically announce them on the front page. Just a thought. [addsig]

personally, i think we should have a sticky thread in "general"

one kept 100% true, one monitored by the admin to ensure it stays so.

the sticky topic would be "famous last words posted by new members"

IE

Degenatron on 20th Jan 2005
- Reviewing a map entails PLAYING a map

SparkyX on 26th Jan 2005
Actually, I'm beginning to hate Snarkpit

and my all time favorite

Degenatron on 23rd Jan 2005
Wrong.

i think a sticky thread of this type would quickly become the #1 post quantity.

i read most of that... scene. i am betting that more time was actually invested in the replies, than went into either the review or the map.
