"Most Questions Solved" would be quite descriptive and less controversial... And besides, it's just a label.

most questions? thats to focused IMO. tutorials is just as important, so are critiques, and models for that matter. hell, i have prolly rated more new members than anyone else has, lets have most "involved", or would most "over-rated" be more my label?

Lep, having Marty Feldman as your picture is not really setting a good example for the gallery. I thought the idea was to keep it as 100% true as possible, given that its 100% relied on the members honesty when submitting a real picture.

Course, it is your site. :/

True, but I think Omegaslayer's suggestion was just towards this single number. What I was saying is that, if it is ever implemented, this is the least confusing name possible (IMO,of course).

You know on "your" stats page it says "solved X# of editing problems" (I have 27) that would be the determining number alone, just to see who has been the best question answerer (If thats a real word).

upon reflection, i grasp your idea well enough, but still feel that answering posted questions is but a small portion of being helpful. editing, and problem solving is made up of many actions, sometimes very subtle ones.

anywho's, i think any system that rewards is a good one, even one that only rewards part of the process.

Heh... Look at that:

Single player (24)
Deathmatch (176)
Counter-Strike: Source (104)
Day of Defeat: Source (0)
Sven Co-Op (-1)
Other... (5)

!!! "Sven Co-Op (-1)"

What's mean?

Admin options - ability to edit text underneath peoples avatars (long one's keep screwing with the formatting and overlapping into posts) or a string limit.

And, a "merge posts" feature. I'm sick to the back bloody teeth of 3 one line posts made just 5 minutes apart by the same person. Can't stop atrocious habits, but i'd like to edit them [addsig]

I've made something which should hopefully save your post in IE if you navigate away from the page, and reload it when you click the 'restore text' link (changed from a mouseover as it doesn't seem to work correctly on some setups)

I think we should have the writing which says not to post editing questions in general banter in bigger red writing as a couple of people have done it in the past few days.

P.S. Snarkpit is now working at college so i'll be posting even more

Firefox - Just edited a post, tried to add a smiley using the JS clicky thingy and it erased all text in the box, replaced by the : bbcode :.

I just clicked back and did it manually, but it could be a potential annoyance. [addsig]

Hey lep in my profile when I click "my website" it takes me to http://www.snarkpit.com/www.sourcemapscollective.com, which isnt my web site: www.sourcemapscollective.com (which is what I entered in that field). Also it wont let me delete a old news post that never made it to the front page (I had to make a new one).

I like the weekly map round up BTW keep it up plz

omegaslayer, add a "http://" at the start of your URL and it will work. [addsig]

Lep, how about a couple of arrows to move up/down a profile when viewing someones profile?

Just an idea, might encourage people to read more profiles or rate more people. Not entirely sure how you'd do the increments (alphabetised/by ID) though (ie which method) [addsig]

omegaslayer, like a lot of other people you seem to have failed to understand the meaning of "please enter a fully qualified URL"- it means start it with http:// (this is because people with pits might only want to write pits/leperous, for example).

Gwil-m0ng, learn to edit posts And what do you mean by 'arrows' to move up and down, you can do that with your keyboard already?
