You know what, I don't give a toss. The case was closed and there wasn't really much point in leaving the topic open so you could go on making weak jokes about latex.

this is where i say "you have had a bad day" I understand but do not think you can use me as your vent.

/me bows out before you put your foot any deeper into your mouth. :/

[edit] we used to be able to send a PM to ourselves. i used it often. can we have that option back?

SnarkPit was down again for me today. Was it some problem with Oktagone? Or was it just a routine site maintainence? Could it be just me?

Sorry about the file uploads not working, it's a server/PHP module doowhalley missing that means thumbnails can't be generated.

Just a little niggle...

As you can see, the unreal collapse menu and the HL collapse menu are sat on the same line. On the same topic, how about putting a number next to each game title, eg...

Half-Life 2 (3) +expand

Half-Life (7) +expand

Sorted & sorted; I'll look into a cheap way of numbering people's maps too.

I believe Lep said that the web site is now hosted on a different computer. Well, I can definitely feel the difference. Everything loads a lot slower, and sometimes the website even becomes unresponsive.

Is this going to be a permanent issue?

I think if someone feels up to it, a real time chat thing would be kinda cool. Otherwise you need to wait to see a response. Just a thought... [addsig]

IRC

Plenty of idling in there, occasionally it springs into life with a debate on religion, politics, editing questions/answers, discussion of the news, off the wall comedy.

Muchos fun with the regulars!

irc.quakenet.org / #snarkpit - get mIRC from www.mirc.com, and get online with the gang! [addsig]

They've been doing things with the servers the last few weeks; today it seems lovely and fast and hopefully it'll stay this way from now on

Not a complaint or bug or anything:

The first time I tried out the "random profile" button, the random profile that came up was for the user 'Random'. Just a strange coincidence. [addsig]

When posting news on the site and associating it with a map, it would be nice if the drop down list of maps was sorted by game. I have 2 maps called "echo", and as they aren't differentiated from one another I wouldn't know which to post news about.
