I deleted it for that very reason once you got the answer, no point in keeping it and clogging up the database really.

Ahhh, fair point Lep

Error in your sig Sloth. Your != You're/You are.

And the error is? if it isn't your, then what is it? [addsig]

What it should say is "If you are so certain...", which condences into "If you're so certain...".

"Your" is used when talking of something related to who you are talking to, such as "your bike" or "your daughter".

[edit] F*** you blair!

'Your' does not equal 'you are' or it's contraction 'you're'

Your sig contains an error.
You are now aware of this fact.

I hope I'm not interrupting anything here... I've just got something to post that fits the topic description

The quick relpy thing is cool, but it shouldnt put the browser window in focus when you mouse over it... that annoys me. Anyone else not like this? Or do you all like it this way...

I hadn't even noticed, I tend not to have too many things up around my monitor at once but instead keep things minimised for the most part. I guess for others it could get annoying though, and I don't see any need for it unless its a technical reason.

What if you have the snarkpit up in a maximised window, and two small-ish windows on each side of the quick reply. You are focused on one of the small windows, and move the mouse to focus on the other, but instead the snarkpit steals the focus as you pass the quick reply box and sits itself above bother your small windows.

If you load up snarkpit At the main page, it displays as if al fora have new posts, which is not so.

How about having long links shrunk down. Looking at the welsh ghosts thread, how about making links whose text is over a certain length be altered like this:

http://www.sub1.domain1.tl2/folder/otherfolder/biglongpagenamewithloadsofquestionmarksandstuff

becomes:

http://www.sub1.domain1.tl2/fo [...] arksandstuff

The quote function doesnt seem to work in Firefox, for me at least - clicking quote simply returns a "full" reply box, yet without your quote..

IE isnt an option on my older machine tbh, it eats RAM like it's going out of fashion. And it encourages bad coding. And it doesnt have tabbed browsing. And, I still think its a good browser - but could be a thousand times better... the advances in its tech and usability/features have been few and far between in reality.

The microsoft motto again, if it aint broke (it is, knowing M$ ) dont fix it. or upgrade it. just make it look prettier *rolls eyes at length*

SInce Lep has the ability to fix all the errors we keep finding (God bless him) then it's obviously not our browsers fault. Stop being so resistant to change Jon, damn it!
