i knew what you meant, tis why i hesitate suggestions that i know in advance will cause an increase of workload..

i am code stupid, but i know its work to do..

anywho's, suggestions don't get ignored, but sometimes they are not successfully implemented either, case in point.. the error with rating tutorials, it was addressed, but failed to achieve its goal, at least for me and reno.. i never accused lep of failing to listen, i just hate bothering him repeatedly, i would like a way to know at a glance that he did address the idea.. without the need to post another time..

i know, that it appears sometimes that we disagree, but thats only on the surface.

i would never accuse lep of not being attentive to our suggestions, far be it. look around you, a lions share of the pit is my suggestions, with that said, i am not taking credit for a single one of them either. from my perspective it appears that way, but i know better, for instance: the black background, i may have been the 6th person to suggest it way back when, but i didn't know that, i just saw one day it was black, it had to have been a good idea as it was used. many, if not all of the suggestions currently in use were mine, but since i do not know the order in which lep received them, it would be massively arrogant of me to even entertain the idea that i was responsible for the site.

but, since i so dearly love the layout, in its current config. i am content, even if all of my suggestions were late or worse lost.

when i suggest something, i assume its brand new and work from there as i would not suggest it, knowing its up for review/acceptance.

anywho's, i did not intend indifference to your perceived views of leps memory

/me drops subject.

I could just edit people's posts with a little "implemented" tag... but I can't be bothered, I do work on pretty much everything you throw at me (though some might take longer than others to fix)

In campaignjunkie's profile it says he has written two tutorials, but if you click that link so as to view his tutorials, only one is displayed (how to cel-shade brushes).

I seem to be able to see both... His other tut is about textures, so have you disabled texture tutorials or enabled only editing tuts or somesuch?

Edit: Seems like you've enabled only HL2 tuts. See the difference:

1) http://www.snarkpit.com/editing.php?page=tutorials&byuser=16&game=HL2&editor=hammer

2) http://www.snarkpit.com/editing.php?page=tutorials&byuser=16

(1) shows only celshading. (2) shows both.

Ooh I know why this is happening, it's because he has a tutorial for a section that only exists for HL, but if you have your default game set to HL2 it won't "load" that section. I'll fiddle with some code and fix it.

I see you've added Zombie Panic, but there's no icon. So here's one.

Needs resizing though D:

A prob I found whilst looking at the zombie panic maps:

Might just be my machine, but I don't know.

[hint: says theres only one, but two maps show.]

Might be interesting to have a "daily average over past week" part to the user stats alongside the total/average stats that exist. Would probably clutter the interface a little and the name is much too unwieldy, but it would be interesting to see how it matches up to the average.

Color me curious (whatever that means), but how do I check the fate of my reviews? I wrote one a while ago and it's not on the page and I didn't get any message saying that it was received. [addsig]

look in your "control panel" if yours is like mine it will have BIG RED LETTERS SAYING "REJECTED"

its at bottom of page.

I know something like it was suggested already, but I'd like to see the list of reviews sorted in chronological order, if that's possible.

i have noticed an annoyance, not a bug, but something that pisses me off and i assume others as well.

i have been working on these Christmas computers, and each time i get one going i update it. well while doing so i visit snarkpit, i log in but not permanently. before i can visit 3 threads and answer one, i am logged out and my message gets borked

i assume some people are on public PC's at libraries or net caf? and do not want to be permanently logged in there, so they do not check the boxes either.

can the default time be increased a bit to say 10 minutes or so ??

[edit] the log out function seems to work better than it previously did, so maybe this request is moot now. perhaps others who are on public computers have some input.

He's addressed this before, it's those computers cookie settings. Lower the security or allow the snarkpit through indefinitly. [addsig]
