The ground does not have a real texture. The houses and objects do not cast shadows. The terrain looks horrible. The destruction system sucks two asses. Bland particle effects and textures.

Nice models.

Haha, two of my flatmates downloaded that...then deleted it promptly after. Apparently they couldn't get it working online or over our network (and no we aren't total LAN gaming n00bs ). I downloaded a trailer of it some time back and it looked pretty terrible graphically, with their "destructible terrain" apparently meaning you can knock trees down with explosions [addsig]

What happened to the "Cassius Stamp of Hate" image? I'm not sure I can truly believe the authenticity of this stamp of hate without the official graphic.

Ta for the review. Maybe it'll get better before the final release? The screenies in all the previews in PC gamer and the like looked pretty good too. It's a shame, but never mind, Ground Control II is due soon.
