Just wondering why Eden (which of course is very good and well deserves the title) is map of the moment, considering it was created quite a while ago?

Because it has a review; reviews attract traffic.  Oh yeah, and it's very good too

The ten commandments, number... eleven..

11) THOU SHALT NOT QUESTION THE GODS OF THE SNARKPIT, FOR FEAR OF FIRE AND BRIMSTONE CONSUMING THINE HOUSE!

Seriously, it's there because of the recent site update (ie it's not top of our priority list) and we haven't done reviews for a while. Our focus has moved to development more than er (tries to think of the opposing word) re-viewelopment...

You can sort maps by downloads; Eden is currently the most downloaded.  The most downloaded map shows up on the "user stats" section (see "people").

Hmm, would it be possible to code something to show what the map with the most dl's in the past week is? That would show which map is more popular now than overall. If not, perhaps simply the title of the position needs to be changed.

Good idea, CCS, hopefully Leperous will read this - if not i'll ask him about the idea myself. I'm quite sure it wouldn't be *too hard* to implement in all this spinkee PHP

MOTM is there for later when/if we get an active review, er, thingy working again and want some map pimpage- Eden is there because it's good and I can't really be arsed to choose anything else

Aaaanyway downloads in the last week, I really have no idea on how to code that in quickly & efficiently- the only way I can see to do it is to have 8 rows in the maps table- 7 counting the downloads on a given day, and an 8th to control the 'reset' date of those days... we'll see
