Was just reading an interesting article in the paper about using stem cell technology to grow new teeth. It looks like it's going to be pretty costly though, between 1500 and 2000 english pounds.
Here's what's on the BBC website:

Nah, now they can just make more money spending less time on these procedures.
Interesting method - of course, I imagine there will be a fun backlash from religious groups over practical applications actually coming out of stem cell research. But I also wonder how many people who think it's a horrific thing have poor teeth and might suddenly change their tune

Something I may look into as I'm planning on having all my teeth pulled in about a week. All in all its going to cost me about $9000. Can anyone tell me how much 2000 pounds converts to in US dollars?

Another completely ignorant comment from Vash!
People don't just lose teeth from not brushing them like in the example Ferret posted above but you didn't read because you were busy being ignorant or thinking about being ignorant. [addsig]

My uncle once got a air rifle for his birthday, and his mate didn't realise it was loaded, and shot him in the eye, he has a fake eye ball now, its soo wierd

I was actually born without a permanent tooth - on one side, it grew in horizontally, so I had the fun of them guiding it down, but on the other there was just simply nothing there after the baby tooth fell out. My front teeth had a gap in them until I got braces, then they opened a hole in the proper spot and I now have a bite plate with a false tooth until I can get a formal implant.

I shattered my two front teeth, swinging on a metal gate as a kid. Scared the piss out of me, and my mother...who intercepted me as I ran across the yard screaming, and spitting ivory.

I got some badly smashed teeth on my right hand side from my run in with Britains social underclass... but I don't think the Government will cough up for me to have new ones
