If so, its a bit of a slow and boring video, but Halo 2 is shaping up really well. I guess as a video is displays the new features well, but I'd probably prefer a good old fashioned action packed trailer. [addsig]

I'm all for Halo2. If I were to choose between an xbox and a ps2, Halos 1 and 2 would be a very good reason to get the xbox, but this video looked really lame. I know it's grainy and all, but the graphics don't look that much better, and it doesn't look like there's anything shockingly new. They already had the rocket-warthog in Halo:PC, and the beam sword seems unnecessary considering all the weapons can double for close combat. Oh well, here's hoping! ![]()

| Oh, whoop-dee-doo. That video was showing off a weapon much like UT2004's Avril, as if it was an amazing new feature |
They were showing what was different about EACH weapon actually - it was more a presentation for journalists to see what has been changed from Halo's multiplayer than a trailer meant to impress.
Anyway, the rocket launcher in Halo was useless at long range in the past; its a worthwhile change to implement and something Halo fans will probably think is worth mentioning. [addsig]

I didnt find it all that great of a trailer either, but it was hilarious when he pulled out that point weapon and the demo guy says: "Bugface, I've got the ultimate anti son-of-a-bitch stick right here."
Shooting the hubcaps off the warthog was pretty cool too. Though I never saw any rocket luncher warthogs in the PC version. Maybe I missed it.

The beam sword is pretty strong (you can lunge and stuff towards your enemy) apparently; I don't think it's that redundant. ![]()
