I'm about an eighth of the way down the page... I see no point in reading on, no matter how funny it may end up it wont be worth all this reading.

Personally, I'd prefer a SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONGUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARD over some crappy apple.

I read the whole thing unfolding on the something awful forums. The pictures of the p-p-powerbook are great. [addsig]

pictures were the only redeeming portion IMO.. especially the "Xed out" Microsoft emblem, and the penciled in mac

If it has OSX, its okay by me. Secondly, Mac's architecture (L68..?) is much nicer then a PC's (x86). Their CPU arithmeitc opperations are faster. (for various reasons).

Anyway, the 'scammers' reply was a bit weak, he just sent a Trojan virus ... wouldn't he be a bit more creative and run some javascript on the email page which auto loads some file?? [addsig]

I think it was mass pimpage and a combination of /., SomethingAwful forums, and various random 'news' websites around the internet.

The guy posted on the SA forums saying he thought someone was trying to scam him and asked what he should do so a lot of traffic came form there when it got a site of it's own. [addsig]
