Ah, I remember learning Japanese.
Watashiwa Mykeru-chan. I am Michael.
Korewa hon des. This is a book.
Korewa hon deska? Is this a book?
....and other such gems remain in my memory. Sadly almost all the rest is forgotten
As for learning this language on the internet.....I don't know any sites, but I think it's going to be pretty challenging! I spent four years living in Japan and still couldn't speak the language well.
Then again, us Brits are well-known to be the worst linguists in Europe, so you may find it easier than I did.

N? hăo, n? hăo ma?
Go to a library, get a beginners course book with a tape, learn Japanese. My friend and I are learning Chinese this way, he a little more eagirly than me but still. If you want to learn Japanese this is not a impossible task. Oh btw, depending on how old you are you might wanna look forward to the university, Lund, Uppsala and G?teborg all have courses in Japanese.
