We left from Ottawa to Montreal, which was a little over 2 hours in a chartered bus, then took DND transportation to Longpointe (Cadet Concentration Point) to check in (which was uterly useless) and then we went to St Jean, about a hour away from Montreal. When we got there, we stayed the night. We got issued our flight suits and other equipement. Then we boarded a DND rented coach bus and returned back in the direction of Ottawa for the place called Les Cedres, about 2 hours away. So you can see we almost went back to Ottawa. Its always like that, go one way and then the other to get to where you want.

When we got there, it was a scout camp/biathlon center. But its all to us. Its not the best place but its quite fun. We're 14. We got all our manuals and handbooks, a whole 6 of them plus a few other info sheets and practice exams and a kneeboard. We've been here since Monday, so 5 days today. And since we all knew each other from last summer at glider the meet and greet was really short lol. Yesterday we didnt fly because of poor weather. Thunderstorms all over the place. 2 cells actually went right over the airfield.

The airport is a funny one lol. Its a small one with 1 runway and a few planes. Cessna 152s and 172s. But the best part is that the winds blow in favor of taking off on runway 25 (meanning 250degrees) and at the end of the runway is a street, and across the street is a truck stop and restaurant.

Anyways, I have to get going here, got some classes to attend to.
