| I watched the latest movie, and it kinda sacked. |
we had this discussion in the "recently watched" thread.. i was hyped about the latest film, but was somewhat disappointed once i finally watched it.. its not something i could put my finger on, but the movie lacked the element/feel of the preceding films.
the last potter movie, it was good. i don't regret watching it, but it was not great, something i felt the others were.
i hope the next film remedies this..

HP Books > HP Movies.
And I choose to indulge in neither.

Hahaha, wise words.
I've read all the books, haven't really been impressed with any of them, but certainly more impressed then I'd be with the movies.

I don't hate Harry Potter, but neither am I particularly fond of it. I find that both the books and the films try too hard to be strange. Wrong way to approach something in my opinion. Stuff like silly jumping chocolate frogs and the like?! What's wrong with them eating a Mars bar like any other kid?
And then the whole element of people being referred to as 'mudbloods' or whatever, like 'normal' people are lower beings that the little s**ts at Hogwarts?
