Tis a shame really, that game would have sold bucket loads if it was released 2 years ago when it was made and would have gone down in history for it's ?ber-ness, but oh well, that's the power of money I guess :/

Yup Halo been redone by Gearbox Software, the guys who did Blue Shift and OpFor...

God help us, I hope they aren't planning on using Steam since there is a relation to Valve there...

They don't have any relation to Valve, beyond producing op4.  I doubt they will use steam.

PC Halo doesn't look as good as Xbox Halo from screens I've seen, and fact is, it can't and never will. TV refresh rate is slower so the graphics looks better [addsig]

tv is also at 640x480 resolution (unless you have HDTV), so the pc has the ability to give much sharper images.  Anyway, I thought higher refresh rate was better, as It allowed higher fps.

why would you want a lower refresh rate? it's bad on the eyes. [addsig]

i woulda been perfectly satisfied had U2 followed unreal and included a MP version..

seperating the MP from the SP is nothing more than a money ploy..

U2 was one of this most recent letdowns i can recall in the games i have purchaced..

my son finished the whole game in less than 24 hours and it costed me 50 bucks to find this out

i am not the unreal fan i used to be..

I've never been a big fan of Unreal.  It's hard to say why, because I like most of the elements that compose the game....guess it just never hooked me.  I played some of the demo from U2, and I have to say, It seemed very halfassed, boring, and uninspired...it felt like a rushjob.

in all fairness, the demo didn't do the full version justice..

i spent hours looking over the maps in U2, and rushed never came to mind.. in fact the map took on the scale of small cities.. i have never seen maps so large..

there were some so big, i got tired of looking for the edge, cause i couldn't find one :/

you could go straight up in some and lose site of the map long before you reached the top...

anyways, from a mapping standpoint, it was down right incredable... i just missed the DM it could have had...
