Not everyone has a disposable income of the average 6th form/college student

Particularly the Scottish, who spend their money on Irn Bru and cheap, nasty lager!

I can possibly afford that, but with Burnout 3 coming out soon with 6 player online racing on Xbox Live, it may have to get my money instead And I call myself a level designer... [addsig]

I'm going to learn on that free XSI thing, since I'm a cheap bastard.

Yeah, HL2 appeals more to me than Doom 3. But we'll see how mod-able it ends up being I guess.

I think the general point is that its the most moddable thing since sliced bread...

...That didn't really work.

Yeah, I'm thinking about making a tactical squad-based mod for sliced bread. Who knows, maybe I might even move on to dinner rolls!

"Irn Bru's advertising campaigns have always been very different to those of other commercial soft drinks...including...supposed-advert for a cleaning product called "Jef", which consists of a small boy in a box, who sucks Irn Bru stains out of clothes."

Far out. [addsig]

Wee, I'm getting used to this editor now. It's pretty damn impressive, miles more fun to use than UnrealEd. Hasn't really beat Hammer yet, but I only started using it yesterday so that's sort of unfair. [addsig]

Am I the only one who doesn't like the way D3 looks? It looks like a pile of rubbermade bins piled together and then covered in saran wrap. I'm sure the editor is fine, but those aren't visuals I want to be working with. [addsig]

Yeah, I have to say I prefer HL2's art style and gameplay style more. BTW, are there any really-really good Doom 3 fan maps out yet with custom meshes and stuff? I know the Doom 3 importer/exporter has been released, so it should be possible...
